On trying to add an SSH pubkey in the web interface:
“Sorry, we’re not able to verify your SSH key: ssh-keygen -l -f: exec: “ssh-keygen”: executable file not found in %PATH%”
It’d be nice not to have to interact with git.teknik repos via unencrypted HTTP. I hear there’s an OpenSSH implementation for Windows these days…
(BTW, making it a PITA for people to contribute on repos hosted here makes it materially less likely that people will contribute on repos hosted here.)
I don’t mean to offend the staff as I don’t really know how busy they are, but I feel uncomfortable for this issue being open for 2 WEEKS and nothing has gone on to fix this(to my knowledge).
Sorry about that, but I am the sole developer on this project, and have been dealing with IRL issues. Also, I started converting everything on the site to a more manageable state before adding any new features.
Currently, I have disabled the SSH portion of the gogs instance, but seems like it has some ssh aspects in some places. These will fail with the SSH turned off.

Thanks for your input, and sorry if it’s causing any frustration!
Thank you very much for the quick response, now I see why things haven’t gotten implemented as quickly as I thought it would be. Deal with your IRL crap before this stuff for sure. :P I thankfully can still use the migration feature to keep synced mirrors up, so I’m happy. Luckily I use many git provides to mirror and keep my stuff up to date so teknik.io not being fully functioning isn’t a hindrance at all. Thanks.
As an aside to this issue, HTTPS is now enabled so that it isn’t unencrypted http at least.
No due date set.
This issue currently doesn't have any dependencies.
