Results in “Printable area is too small, reduce borders or block size”. Since information available through MS printer functions has been removed, possibly due to unreasonable defaults. Should be made to print a bitmap using the dimensions of an A4 sheet of paper by default.

Although this is a bug, negative height is not an invalid value. A negative value indicates the DIB is a top-down DIB, and a positive, a bottom-up DIB. Code may need to be modified to accept byte data in reverse order.
