  27. NOTE: I've seen some people uploading my releases in other servers. I recommend you always getting
  28. my releases of my uploads in the forums above, because sometimes I release fixes or re-launch some
  29. games that have problems. If you get my uploads you'll be sure of having the latest releases.
  30. Additionally, you'll get the original package, not images made from discs, so you'll be sure that
  31. nothing is corrupted.

  38. Source: GD dump.

  42. This release was made for 80min CD-R, but it will require 28 seconds overburn (about 4mb, ~0.6%).
  43. You shouldn't have any problems burning this in any media. Be sure to use the option "Overburn" in
  44. DiscJuggler, or the appropriate option of the software you're using.

  46. You don't have to read anything below this point

  48. Kalisto has released this game in the past, but they had converted the audio to 22khz (and cracked
  49. the game to make it play correctly, a really nice piece of work) to make it fits on a CD-R. Some
  50. other guys re-linked the the two audio channels to a single file (like in Soul Calibur). I've
  51. tried another approuch.
  52. First I saved a lot of space re-linking redundant files, kudos to Darkfalz for the idea and the
  53. utilities that made the work much easier. However, the overburn would be too big with the space
  54. left. So I've monoized the 2 biggest songs using the classic trick: re-link the file of right and
  55. left channel to the same file. It would be a crap job though, because the song wouldn't be a real
  56. mono, you would lose the sounds of one of the channels. After a lot of work, I was able to
  57. correctly figure out the Yama*a ADPCM format used in this (and a lot others) game (s), manually
  58. add a header to the raw files, decode them with ffmpeg (this great free software can decode even
  59. the most obscure file formats!), join the channels and use the official tools to encode the audio
  60. back. With that, I was able to make a full mono version of the songs. Now you can enjoy this game
  61. with stereo audio in 44khz (except for two songs in 44khz mono). Probably this is the only release
  62. with that feature. The bad thing is that it will requires a very (very very very) small overburn,
  63. but it's a very fair price to pay.
  64. The MP3 of the full quality tracks that were downsampled are included in the "Extras" folder in
  65. the pack.
  66. Oh, and now that I was able to work with this weird ADPCM format, expect nice news soon, mainly
  67. related to some "unrippable" games.
  68. VGA-Box support was already enabled in the game, but it just won't work. Blame the developers.
  69. PAL users, this game will already boot in 60hz in your console.
  70. Enjoy another DCRES masterpiece. Always with fresh ideas for your old console.
  71. Features of my release:
  72. - Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files.
  73. - Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader
  74. noise.
  75. - Selfboot.
  76. About the game:
  77. - It has VGA Box support.
  78. Other comments:
  79. - "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff.
  80. - Release comes with covers.
